In this piece, on the hour, every hour for a year, the artist Tehching Hsieh punched in on a clock and took a photograph. The sentiment of this is to show the passing of time in a very literal sense, as I am doing similarly. Hsieh shaved his head before the start of the project and let it grow throughout, further expressing the context of time. This piece’s 8760 photographs rather make my 720 clock faces insignificant by comparison.
